HUMANE SOCIETY OF CHARLOTTE

We are proud to support the Humane Society of Charlotte. We work with many pet owners who have found their new additions to their family through the Humane Society. Queen City Petsitting Productions endorses the efforts of the Humane Society in finding homes for the many animals in Charlotte without people to love them. Several events are planned in the next few months that will help:

• WALK IN THE PARK RIVER JAM – This event takes place on July 11, 2015, and will be held at the U.S. National Whitewater Center on Whitewater Center Parkway in Charlotte. The walk is at 6 pm, then at 7 pm, the band Chamomile & Whiskey will perform.
• CHARLOTTE MEGA 500 ADOPTION EVENT – On September 18-20, the Humane Society of Charlotte and rescue partners from throughout Charlotte and the surrounding area will team up with a goal of finding new, loving homes for 500 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens! This will be the largest Charlotte adoption event ever!
• 6th ANNUAL TIES AND TAILS GALA – This signature event will be held October 10, 2015, at the Westin Charlotte. It is the first and longest running formal event in Charlotte where dogs are invited, so come dance the night away with your favorite canine and help raise funds for the HSC. So, put on your top hat (your dogs already have the tails!) and support the HSC at our premier event of the season!

The staff at Queen City Petsitting Productions also want to recognize and applaud all the many volunteers that work so diligently with the Humane Society to find homes for homeless pets. Just in the month of May, 2015, the hours donated by volunteers were 6,385. The year-to-date total is 29,591. Thank you volunteers!
