Some of the wonderful pet-friendly events which have been going on this spring are:

• April – The annual Pet Palooza
• May 8th – The first-ever ExtravaDOGanza
• May 30th – the 6th annual Amazing Pet Expo

These wonderful events allow animals and owners to enjoy each other’s company while knowing that their money is going to support less fortunate animals.

The Pet Palooza is considered a “Must Attend” event. This huge vendor fair is supported by over 80 local businesses and organizations. Also, the proceeds from this special event go to help HSC continue to help provide the community with critical services such as low cost spay/neuter, clinics for vaccinations and microchips, adoptions, and training classes. If you missed out this year, make sure to mark your calendar for next year!

The exciting ExtravaDOGanza roared into life this year with their exciting theme, The Barking 20s! The semi-formal party provided an exciting night out for pet owner and even welcomed well-behaved canine guests. All proceeds from the evening went to the Greater Charlotte SPCA. The GCSPCA works to improve the quality of life of homeless animals.
